"Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits
of all your increase; So your bams will be billed with plenty,
and your vats will overflow with new wine" (Proverbs 3:9-10).
"There is one who scatters, yet increases more; and there
is one who withholds more than is right, but it leads to poverty.
The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also
be watered himself" (Proverbs 11:24-25).
"When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it; for
He has no pleasure in fools. Pay what you have vowed -- Better
not to vow than to vow and not pay" (Ecclesiastes 5:4-5).
"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may
be food in My house, and try Me now in this", Says the Lord
of hosts, "If I not open you the windows of heaven and pour
out for your such blessings that there will not be room enough
to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer of your sakes, so
that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, not shall the
vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field", says the Lord
of hosts (Malachi 3:10-11).
"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed
down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your
bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured
back to you" (Luke 6:38).
